We had an excellent and most auspicious opening week at TGAS! On very short notice, we were able to invite ten monks from Drepung Loseling to spend the day with us. The monks performed a three-hour ceremony to fill a stupa recently arrived from Tibet. There were also Medicine Buddha pujas, and an evening Dharma class.
We are OPEN! And we hope you will come and join us from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, July 27th.
Meet the artist, learn about traditional Tibetan art, and enjoy some momos and Tibetan herbal tea.
We are very happy to announce that the monks of Drepung Gomang Monastery will be with us the week of October 20-28th at Tibetan Gallery & Studio.
