An excellent opening week
We had an excellent and most auspicious opening week at TGAS! On very short notice, we were able to invite ten monks from Drepung Loseling to spend the day with us. The monks performed a three-hour ceremony to fill a stupa recently arrived from Tibet. There were also Medicine Buddha pujas, and an evening Dharma class.

Every aspect of Tibetan Gallery & Studio is a collaborative effort, a small example of Interdependence. My scaffold alone was a process, and is a work of art by a very talented local craftsman, and proudly, it is Made In America.
Auspicious Days
According to Tibetan astrology this year, June 1st is one of the most auspicious days of the year. When Tashi asked his father to choose the most favorable day for blessings for the Studio, his father was excited and explained, “This is a rare day, to have this many good signs. The best way I can explain it is that we say, even beggars will find gold coins in the streets on a day such as this.” And so, with that guidance, Tashi selected June 1st to have the Studio blesses.
